What is NANV ?
NANV was launched by Neso Vietnam in July 2006 with the active support of the Dutch Business Association of Vietnam (DBAV). Formally NANV is asub-committee of the DBAV and is the out come of the cooperation between DBAV and Nuffic. Further support to the Network is received from the Netherlands Embassy in Hanoi and the Consulate General in HoChi Minh City. Also Dutch universities are providing their support anduse NANV as the channel to stay in touch with their alumni.
Can NANV help me with organising a small reunion or special alumni events?
The NANV will help organising various events, such as alumni dinners, seminars, conferences, courses and work shops on certain topics. The NANV is willing to invite guest speakers such as scholars, govern mentofficials and alumni in high positions to share their know ledge and experiences. Further more, activities could be arranged including getting together with, and exchanging expertise with alumni from other alumni associations.
What is NESO Vietnam's role in the NANV?
Neso Vietnam functions as the Secretariat of the NANV. Neso Vietnam takes care of website maintenance, acts as the organisation coordinatorand will try to ensure continuity and sustainability of the NANV. Still, the NANV has the aim that the Network will be completely run by alumni them selves.
Do I have to pay for my NANV membership?
No, being a member of the NANV is completely free-of-charge! We only ask you to register yourself by filling out some information on the online Registration Form, and submit this to us. However, to ensure membership effectiveness, there can be a membership information checking period, which can last one or two days. You will receive an email confirmation for the registration.
How does the NANV deal with my personal information?
The NANV is committed to protecting your privacy as a network member. By filling out the online Registration Form, you decide which personal details will be disclosed in the Alumni Directory. In order to guarantee your privacy, only basic information (such as name and e-mail address) can be viewed by other alumni and your formerhost-institution. The NANV Secretariat is the only party who will be able to view all data you have submitted, but will not sell, rent orl ease your name and/or personal information to third parties.
